A great heirloom non-GMO pole bean with an interesting history. It is reported that these beans were carried in the pockets of the Cherokee during the Trail of Tears in the 1830's. This bean is a black seeded bean. Great for fresh eating, steaming, stir frying, canning, and freezing. They also make a great black bean soup. It is easy to save these seeds for the next year. Maturity: 65 days
