Charleston Grey Watermelon Seeds

This heirloom dates back to the 1950’s and is named for its greenish-grey rind. These take 80-100 days to ripen and the longer they remain on the vine, the sweeter they become. Its red flesh is crisp, fiberless, and delicious. Another great thing is they are resistant to anthracnose and fusarium wilt. Weighing in at about 25-35 pounds, the tough rind on this watermelon lends itself to shipping well.
